After 14 years of being a yearbook representative, it would make sense that I start my own website right? Yearbooks and Walsworth has been such a part of my life that the two are almost interchangeable. As many of you know, that’s always been a goal of mine when I visit schools. I want you to become a part of my family and the Walsworth one!

Did you know that my high school used Walsworth as a publisher all four years I was on yearbook staff? I loved my high school adviser so much that we kept in touch during my four years at Syracuse University. While interning in Washington DC my senior year, I realized my passion for yearbooks would not go away. I got back in touch with her, and she connected me to a manager at Walsworth. Long story short, they had an opening in South Florida. And here I am, still in love with yearbooks and this company.

It gets better. One year working for Walsworth, and I met my husband at the Camp Orlando yearbook workshop. He was an artist doing covers for Walsworth and now does the super awesome yearbook 3d line of covers for them. 11 years later, we had a daughter named Anastasia, another wonderful part of my life that never would have happened if it wasn’t for yearbooks and Walsworth.

Can being a yearbook adviser and editor change your life for the better? You bet. I can’t believe the path my life has taken because I signed up for Journalism 101 as a 9th grade student. I’m so glad you are with me on this journey through the crazy world of yearbook publishing. It can be a wild thrill ride with highs and lows and moments that will truly make your heart stop. But the best part to this day is still holding that fabulous book in your hand and knowing everything that went into a part of making history. My life is more wonderful because of yearbooks, and my goal is to help you realize the same.
